Bio
Avery has been working as a creative professional for over 9 years. Starting in 1998 as a multimedia designer for Bravo!Marketing in San Francisco, Avery built his design skills crafting brands and interactive experiences for small internet businesses. In 2001 Avery joined Stone Yamashita Partners, where he created CEO and Senior Executive-level brand and business strategy communications. Clients included HP, PWC Consulting, Nike, Gap Inc., Armani Exchange, JP Morgan, and eBay. At SYP Avery designed and produced immersive environments, print collateral, video, presentations, and educational and interactive media. In 2004 Avery devoted himself to his design consultancy full time while completing his MFA in intermedia. He has consulted as an Art Director with Gershoni, Double G Branding, Vibrant Planet, Interra, Global Giving, Stone Yamashita Partners, and GAP. He holds a BA in Multimedia from SFSU and an MFA in Art from Mills College. Avery is currently consulting for various clients while he teaches art and design at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
